After I compiled php-4.3.9 (without any compiler erros) with the configure settings from above, make and make install, I added these lines to my php.ini file to load the shared modules: extension=mysql.so extension=mcal.so extension=curl.so extension=domxml.so extension=imap.so extension=ldap.so extension=mhash.so extension=recode.so extension=snmp.so extension=sybase_ct.so extension=dbg.so extension=gd.so I restarted apache (1.3.26) and it works fine on .html or .htm files. But the first time browsed to a .php file Apache crashed! I looked in /var/log/apache/error.log and found this: /usr/sbin/apache: relocation error: /usr/lib/php/20020429-debug/gd.so: undefined symbol: gdFreeFontCache Does anyone have an idee to fix the problem and how to get the gd-lib running?
