This bug has been fixed in CVS.
Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at

Could please try with the latest php4 snapshot from

Then replace php4ts.dll file with this one

Verified.
It seems that code execution never gets into the part where refcount is
increased in zend_execute.c around lne 1580.
Stas could you have a look?
