The default behavior for HTTP 1.0 should be to read until the connection is closed. This problem occurs when calling a method on Apache Axis' SimpleAxisServer. Reproduce code: --------------- Call a webservice runnning on Apache's SimpleAxisServer. This server returns only the following HTTP headers: HTTP/1.0 200 OK Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8 Set-Cookie: 14 Set-Cookie2: 14 Expected result: ---------------- PHP should read the response until the connection is closed.
