From: roshan_naik@hp.com Operating system: HPUX 11.00 PHP version: 4.2.0 PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: Openssl as self contained extension - make fails Ran phpize on the openssl extension sources to produce configure file for self contained extension. The configure seems to have no explicit option for specifying the openssl directory (./configure --help) It seems to accept the value from an environment variable $OPENSSL_DIR instead. Steps followed.. 1) phpize 2) ./configure \ --prefix=/opt/hpapache2/php/lib/php/extensions \ --with-phpconfig=/php/pear/scripts/php-config 3) make Errors: cpp: "openssl.c", line 35: error 4036: Can't open include file 'openssl/evp.h'. cpp: "openssl.c", line 36: error 4036: Can't open include file 'openssl/x509.h'. cpp: "openssl.c", line 37: error 4036: Can't open include file 'openssl/x509v3.h'. cpp: "openssl.c", line 38: error 4036: Can't open include file 'openssl/crypto.h'. cpp: "openssl.c", line 39: error 4036: Can't open include file 'openssl/pem.h'. cpp: "openssl.c", line 40: error 4036: Can't open include file 'openssl/err.h'. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=17149&edit=1 -- Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17149&r=globals
