This is included at
http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.apache.php
I don't have php4 module Karma to commit
the note there to... This does not mean you
need the C source of course, but ClearModuleList
clears up the list, and it only works with the
mod_php4.c line included...

you don't need to include the original c source file, that's kinda
madness.
i'll check the install.txt again to see.

In the installation guide file (install.txt) under the install for
apache section, the lines listed are
LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
and
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
but for PHP to work like this, another line must be added to
httpd.conf:
AddModule mod_php4.c
this is the line I used, although I am not sure it must be mod_php4.c;
anyway, I only figured this out by guesswork.
Just needs to be added to the documentation.
