Description:

PCRE 5.0 is already out and ripe for grabbing.

The most important feature is IMHO the ability to match general category
properties of Unicode/UTF-8 strings, which is *VERY* useful for
internationalized sites.

I hope this will be implemented as soon as possible. Even an updated
extension will be much better if it's not contained in the next release of
PHP.
