When I write so in a.php:

session_start();
session_register("Name");
?>
<script language="javascript">
self.location="b.php";
</script>
in b.php I write so:
<?
echo session_is_registered("Name");
?>
b.php display null
if I write so in a.php
<a href="b.php">next page</a>
b.php display 1
I do not know if it is a bug?please answer me
