Please try using this CVS snapshot:

  http://snaps.php.net/php5-latest.tar.gz
 
For Windows:
 
  http://snaps.php.net/win32/php5-win32-latest.zip

..and again, update the Version field accordingly. (something like
5CVS-2005-03-06 should appear in it if you can verify this bug..)

I'm using the binaries from snaps.php.net.
If I build PHP with cygwin, I get no problems. (I have no MSVC tools)

Nuno, as far as I understand, you test it with version built by
youself. Could you plz try it with officially built snapshots ?
