Yes, I have :-)

But users of my application have a lot of problems with changeing
configuration of their php. 

In my opinion is longer value better and more compatible with other
applications/libraries which useing sessions. 24 min is too short time
for lost all session variables.

Default value of session.gc_maxlifetime is set quite short. Only 1440s
which is 24 minutes. Shouldn't it be 24 hours instead of 24 minutes?
