From: php@rawhide.cjb.net Operating system: Windows XP PHP version: 4.2.1 PHP Bug Type: Apache2 related Bug description: setting short_open_tag in .htaccess does nothing Entering a value for short_open_tag in the .htaccess file achieves nothing. Example: php_value short_open_tag X Where X is 0, 1, off, on, true, false, etc. Executing phpinfo() will reveal the local value does not change from the master value, whether the master value is on or off. I'd like to keep short_open_tag on for the majority of sites I'm running on my server but there is one in particular making use of XML which I want to disable short_open_tag for. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=17234&edit=1 -- Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=needtrace Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=17234&r=globals
