ID: 33003 Updated by: tony2001@php.net Reported By: olivier at oxeva dot fr -Status: Open +Status: Bogus Bug Type: Reproducible crash Operating System: Fedora RC3 in 64 bits server PHP Version: 4.3.10 New Comment: Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely to be the same. Thank you for your interest in PHP. See bug #30215. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-05-10 23:34:31] olivier at oxeva dot fr Description: ------------ An example is better than any explanation: In 64 bits system : var_dump(strtotime("1115418006")) returns int(3457934838000) In 32 bits system : var_dump(strtotime("1115418006")) returns int(-1) I know that it SHOULD return -1, but returning 3457934838000 is absolutely false. The result differs, wether we are in a 32 bits system or on a 64 bits. Reproduce code: --------------- <?php // This works on 64bits system, with PHP compiled in 64bits too var_dump(strtotime("1115418006")); Expected result: ---------------- echoes : int(-1) Actual result: -------------- int(3457934838000) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=33003&edit=1
