+Status: Bogus
Bug Type: Output Control
Operating System: Windows 98
PHP Version: 4.1.2
New Comment:
You really should read the documentation. http://php.net/flush
regarding the various caveats related to flush(). And Win98 is also
not a well-supported platform. If you are going to use Windows, at
least use Windows2000.

I want to use the Server-push technology to create my website in
Win98+Apache. However when I use the following code:
while(!connection_aborted()){
echo 'Hello.';
//..some other code..
flush();
sleep(5);
set_time_limit(10); //to prevent the code from time limit
}
However, the code doesn't send 'Hello' to the Browser(IE 6.0) every 5
seconds, Actually It DOESN'T SEND ANY CODE TO THE BROWSER. I am
confused, my boss is ANGRY at my slow work. Please help me. Thank
you.
