If you will add the G for Gigabytes just add the T for Terabytes too,
so it will be future save until doomsday. (or at least for the next 5
or 10 years :-) )

In the php.ini parser, "2M" is shorthand for 2 megabytes (2 *
1024 * 1024).
Can we have a G for Gigabytes?
