PHP doesn't do any referse lookups.
If the underlying library does them (and it's slow for you), that's
definitely not PHP problem and we can't fix it.

Using mysql_connect, or mysql_pconnect to an IP address, it takes too
much time! (4 seconds to connect!)..it could be an reverse lookup
problem...if u add an entry on "Hosts" file, and u reference to this
entry, it fly! (like pelanne says in his post:
http://ar2.php.net/manual/es/function.mssql-connect.php#53620)

Expected result:

the same result, but faster
Actual result:
