PHP version: 4.2.1
PHP Bug Type: *Math Functions
Bug description: pow fails if either parameter is a string
Execute this code:
$x="2";
echo pow($x,3);
PHP returns "Warning: Invalid argument(s) passed to pow() in
/www/default/test.php3 on line 5".
"2" should be automatically interpreted as the number 2. This problem
didn't occur in version 4.1.2.
