The content of text.html is <HTML> <HEAD> </HEAD> <BODY> <FORM METHOD=GET ACTION=text.php> Who is your favourite author? <INPUT NAME="author" TYPE="TEXT"> <BR> <BR> <INPUT TYPE=SUBMIT> </FORM> </BODY> </HTML> The content of text.php is <HTML> <HEAD> </HEAD> <BODY> <?php echo $author; ?> </BODY> </HTML> When a name is entered and the submit button is clicked, it goes to the text.php and shows the following error.
