Try CC=gcc ./configure and see if it works ...???

I don't understand.
Where should I tell the compilation that CC=gcc

Compiling 4.2.1 on Solaris 8, configure scripts says yes for unix.h
when it does not exist so when doing the make leads to a failure,
reporting that it cant find unix.h in zend.h. Php 4.1.2 compiles fine.
