that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely

I use the "Squirrel Mail v1.4.5" as my web mail system under the Apache
1.3.34 + PHP 4.4.0 structure. It is working normally.
After I upgrade the PHP to version 4.4.1, I can't read the mail. The
mail reading program was executing timeout. When the program was
running, the CPU loading was 100%.
The following is my configure parameters :
