This bug has been fixed in CVS.
Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change

The function strtotime() does not work correctly, when using three
character weekdays.
Reproduce code:

echo date('D', strtotime('mon'));
Expected result:
----------------
Mon
Actual result:
--------------
(Suggest it's saturday)

Sat (5.1.0)
Sat (5.1.1)
