I installed The Basic and the SDK Instant client packages from OTN, following that manual http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/notes/technote_php_instant.html I used this configure line ./configure --with-mysql=/usr --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --enable-mbstring=all --enable-mbstr-enc-trans --with-oci8-instant-client Compilation fails with this error message main/internal_functions_cli.lo(.data+0x18): undefined reference to `oci8_module_entry' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1 On version 4.4.1 the compilation works ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=36178&edit=1
