ID: 13588 Updated by: edink@php.net Reported By: roelkw@xs4all.nl -Status: Open +Status: Closed Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem Operating System: WinXP build 2600 (final) PHP Version: 4.0.6 New Comment: Cannot reproduce this on PHP 4.2.1. Please try the new version and reopen if the problem is still there. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2001-10-07 16:39:39] roelkw@xs4all.nl When you create a variable and make it a string, like this: $test = "hey"; and later on I change this to an array, like this: $i++; while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($res)) { $test[$i]["id"] = $row["id"]; $test[$i]["name"] = $row["name"]; $i++; } Then PHP/Apache crashes on this line: $test[$i]["name"] = $row["name"]; If I comment that line out, there's no crash! Weird, isn't it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=13588&edit=1
