I'm using the latest gcc compiler on Solaris 9, and the GNU make.

What tools do you use to compile PHP?
I mean compiler, ld etc. - are they GNU ones or native?

When compiling PHP 5.1.2 on Solaris 9 I'm getting this error message
and not allowing me to start-up apache.
Here is the message after running "Make Install".
make[1]: Warning: File `sapi/cli/php' has modification time 24 s in the

ld.so.1: php: fatal: relocation error: file
/SunSolaris/transition/packages/php-5.1.2/sapi/cli/php: symbol
xmlTextReaderGetAttribute: referenced symbol not found
