This bug has been fixed in CVS.
Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change

When WDDX module is compiled separately from main PHP build, the module
contents are not actually compiled due to #ifdef HAVE_WDDX. Since
config.h is not included,HAVE_WDDX is not defined in this case and
empty .o file is produced.
This problem also affects PHP 4.4.2.
Fix is to include config.h on top:
