For some weird reason ext/sybase contains mssql_* aliases, but not when ext/mssql enabled. See bug #32531 for details. The connection has established using mssql_pconnect(). But sybase_query() using that link id is not working in php 5.1.4 whereas it works in php 4.3.11. Same way the link id returned by sybase_pconnect() does not work for mssql_query(). but this works in php 4.3.11.
