Attempting to configure MySQL extension for php5.2-200607071230.
MySQL version: 5.0.22-max
Reproduce code:

# ./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql
...
checking for MySQL UNIX socket location... no
checking for mysql_close in -lmysqlclient... no
checking for mysql_errno in -lmysqlclient... no
configure: error: Try adding --with-zlib-dir=<DIR>. Please check
config.log for more information.
I tried specifying --with-zlib-dir option:
# ./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-zlib-dir
...
checking for MySQL UNIX socket location... no
checking for mysql_close in -lmysqlclient... no
./configure: line 3710: cd: yes: No such file or directory
checking for mysql_error in -lmysqlclient... no
configure: error: mysql configure failed. Please check config.log for
more information.
