ID: 2808 Updated by: tony2001@php.net Reported By: robert dot everett at wcom dot com -Status: Closed +Status: Bogus Bug Type: Oracle related Operating System: Solaris 2.6 PHP Version: 3.0.12 Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [1999-11-24 10:33:17] thies at cvs dot php dot net settng ORACLE_HOME before starting the apache also works. this is nothing we can change - try filing a bug to oracle-support;-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [1999-11-23 23:05:54] robert dot everett at wcom dot com PHP 3.0.12 Apache 1.3.9 Oracle 8.0.4 Solaris 2.6 ORACLE_HOME is being set in the httpd.conf file for Apache and is available to all PHP scripts as a global variable. However, it isn't recognized by the OCI functions. I still have to call putenv before using any of the OCI functions: putenv("ORACLE_HOME=".getenv("ORACLE_HOME")); This seems a little odd. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=2808&edit=1
