Thanks to Derick, Markus, Marcus and Andi for giving me feedback on my commits. Sorry for the
inconvience caused.
I am correcting some of them (like tabs, removing old ifdefs etc.) and will be re-committed them
soon. Can you let me know if they are fine? The others I will commit once I resolve those.
