The latter one is the Apache 1.3 module with a few changes and was the result of some chatting between Rasmus/Thies and Ryan Bloom at the Hackathon (despite what Ryan said in his Apache 2.0 talk, I did not really listen to it). Since the Apache 1.3 module is not thread-safe at all and because I didn't like the overall implementation, I decided to start a new sapi module from scratch. Everything in this area is really unstable and experimental, so big changes might occur later. - Sascha
