No weird firewalls running and a quick debug showed me the requests are
getting in, but I see no sign of this "from" header in the request.
These same tests are failing on the gcov machine as well:

Apparently my home machines Ubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 are very similar to
the gcov machine.
However, look at the make test reports, only 1 out of 54 submitted
reports showed this test failure for RC1:
