This bug report (7609) concerned new connections being made when calling
sybase_connect().
The last reponse was

I guess this should not happen, anyone with sybase should
verify this..
I'm using PHP 4.0.5 on Apache 1.3.20 Redhat 7 and get the same results as
that posted in the bug report.
That is on every 4th connection the resource id is incremented.
Has any progress been made so far, or is this not a problem?
