MySQL - Load Data Local Infile

The ISP I am woking with do not allow me to run MySQL from the prompt line,
I must use a PHP/HTML interface.
I need to upload a large amount of data to the database tables and work
whith "INSERT" is very slow. I would like to use "Load Data Local Infile"
instead, but I've been getting teh same error no matter the changes I've
made with capital letters or backslashes.
I've been using the mysql_query to perform the command below:
"LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE "C:/prod.txt" INTO TABLE Product". It never worked
out !
Does anybody know any tip I can follow ?
