Informix - problems with apache

Hi all, My system is: Linux Apache 1.3.12 PHP Version 4.0.6 (compilation options: './configure' '--with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs' '--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf' '--with-gd' '--with-system-regex' '--with-informix=yes' '--without-mysql' ) I use informix functions. It seems that at each new requestion for a new connection and query execute to informix, the size of memory ocuppied for the process httpd is increase. I can see this with "top". Anyone knows if there is a bug with informix functions? Is there something wrong with my compilation options? What should I do? Thanks in advance. Leila
