sounds like database manipulation was not compiled into PHP when it was
installed on your server.

I need HELP, I can´t open a DBF, I using this:
$dbf = dbase_open('/public/dados/clientes.dbf',0);
$drec = dbase_get_record_with_names($dbf,1);
// ITEM must be in all caps, otherwise
// you get nothing
echo $drec['ITEM'];
But result this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: dbase_open() in
Please, help me....
