I use Posgresql With PHP And I have many of this situation
$row = pg_fetch_row($result, $i);
$gtotal += $row[8];
How i spossible substitute the index of the array with the name of the
field.
This is a problem because if i modify the structure of a table I have to
modify all php page
$row["namefield"] is not accepted
