You can also use cookies and SESSION variables (if you have PHP 4.x) Another alternative is to store the values in a MySQL database or a data file -----Original Message----- From: Carlos Augusto Abarca [mailto:carlos_a_abarca@yahoo.com] Sent: Monday, October 08, 2001 4:43 PM To: php-db@lists.php.net Subject: [PHP-DB] Re: variables are empty when a script recalls itself ($PHP_SELF) Unfortunately there are only 2 ways to do this: 1. Send the values using a "get" method, something like: my_procedure.php?title=value1&nr=value2 The big problem is thst everyone can see the values you're sending with the URL 2. The other way is to create "hidden" form elements and send the values this way with a form submit, but I don´t think this is the case you're looking for.
