Class, Function and Session

If I must use one function defined in the file " utility.inc " to the
inside of one class defined in the file " class.inc ". When use the class in
the main page, where I put session_start()?
For Example:
*********************************************
// top file "class.inc"
require("utility.inc");
class Tool { ...
utilityfunction(.... ,.... ,....); // this function is defined in
"utility.inc"
}
***********************************************
// top main page what use class Tool:
require("class.inc");
session_start();
ect......
ERROR: Warning: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent
....
