Not entirley sure what you're trying to do but, if the '.box_header' and
'.box_footer' are css
classes, then it won't show up in people's text-only email.
if not then try removing the second periods '.'
so i tlooks like:
$body .= "box_header('test').";
$body .= "<h1>text</h1>";
$body .= "box_footer().";
HTH
Russ
$body .= ".box_header('test').";
$body .= "<h1>text</h1>";
$body .= ".box_footer().";
