php and mysql

I downloaded php4 from http://php.net . My problem is REdHat 6.2 does't support php with mysql by default when I installed Linux. and I downloaded php4 and hope that can solve my problem. but when I compile php4 use with-mysql configuration. I can't restart web server. but if I compile it without mysql, it can work properly. I installed everything by custom pattern(linux). Thanks! --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!?
