I've got a table with over 11,000 records that I want to display and print. I'm running an intranet with mySQL and PHP4 on NT4.0 sp6a. Queries that return even up to 5000 records are pretty snappy. 7500 or more records are returned with only a slight delay. 10,000 or more just stop. I've got to print the whole list. My users don't want to print a page at a time.

You could try to get the data is several bits. mysql_query ( "select * from tablename limit 4000,1" ); mysql_query ( "select * from tablename limit 4000,4001" ); mysql_query ( "select * from tablename limit 4000,8001" ); mysql_query ( "select * from tablename limit 4000,12001" ); Something along the lines may work.
