Could someone tell me whether PHP requires the Informix database engine or
can it use CISAM? The UNIX software I want to interface with has CISAM
drivers, just wondering whether I can get away with not buying the Informix
engine.
My gut feeling is that I need to get the Informix engine but before spending
the money I just need some confirmation.
Many thanks
