db not visible if created from remote server

Hi there,
I was uploading my db from my local machine to a server.
mysqldump geodata | mysql -h 192.168.1.1 -u root geodata;
Everything went ok. But the db is not visible for my application! I can see
the db in mysqladmin, but my app does not?
Anybody know what to do?
