MSSQL 7.0- ntext fields

Please excuse me for asking this question again, but I would be quite grateful if anybody has any experience with this or can point me at a resource where this is discussed. I have 4.0.1pl2 installed on Windows 2000 and ntext fields in my MSSQL 7.0 database. When I attempt to SELECT one of these ntext fields, I end up with: Warning: MS SQL message: ntext data cannot be sent to clients using DB-Library (such as ISQL) or ODBC version 3.7 or earlier. (severity 16) Is there a work around for getting ntext data (besides using ODBC) or another solution (like updating drivers for SQL on my machine)? Is this because of the version of the ntwdblib.dll or some basic interface problem with SQL 7 and ntext fields? Thank you for your time, Matthew Beers
