Hi!
I need some general informations on the combination PHP4, Oracle 7,
WinNT.
Are there any problems with Oracle 7 and PHP4, someone told me about
difficulties with large objects and multibyte character sets due to an
unsufficient Oracle API documentation, is that true? If so where can I
find a discussion on the problems and possible workarounds?
A silly questions about the hardware requirements because I doubt the
customers words that explain why Oracle was choosed "... little hardware
and software requirements ... a standard NT Server". The customer will
have about 1.000 Users for his intranet application with probably upto
5% concurrent sessions (50 Users). What's the size of the prozess/thread
that Oracle creates when a PHP request starts? It's on Unix roughly 2MB,
right?
Thanks!
Ulf
