none at all, I have php 4.x running on a slackware7.1/2.2.16 machine with
apache 1.3.12
Also compiled just fine on a slackware 3.6/2.2.6 machine.
make sure all your libs and such are at least the minimum versions. I
think I had aproblem compiling apache 1.3.12 until I checked the minimum
req's and upgraded several packages then all worked well.
