hi, normally I configure php (v3) with: openlink, mysql, apache, xml - and
that's fine. I am now trying also to get db2 in there,
using --with-ibm-db2=/home/db2admin/sqllib.
The config. part seems ok - no errors anyway. But the 'make' fails with
this stuff:
gcc .... blah blah ... internal_functions.o
in file included from internal_functions.c:89:
functions/php3_unified_odbc.h:383: parse error before 'SQLHANDLE'
functions/php3_unified_odbc.h:383: warning: no semicolon at end of struct or
union
functions/php3_unified_odbc.h:387: 'open' redeclared as different
(a dozen or so similar error messages)
I tried the --with-ibm-db2 again, this time without openlink - and the make
worked.
So I guess there's some kind of conflict there - but I don't know the nature
of it, or what I should do - I do need to be able to get access to different
RDBMS's ... Having linked ODBC, do I need to use that for ALL other RDBMS
accesses?
any thoughts please?
thanks
