Yes, it was about default values in a create table statement.
I apologize for made this question in the PHP-DB mailing list but I didn't
learn yet how to restrict the number of messages in the MySQL list.

What you'll have to do is either use a TIMESTAMP column and then either
not set its value or set it to NULL when you create new records (but then
it will also change if you update the records), or else use a DATE or
DATETIME column and set its value to CURRENT_DATE or NOW() when you create
new records.

Your MySQL question is unclear. Are you talking about setting a
default in a CREATE TABLE statement? If so, you can't do what you
want: default values must be constants. Are you talking about something
else? If so, what?
