well if you compile php in a certain way, you can pass the session variable
automatically in the url, so you don't have to worry about people having
cookies turned on. can't remember the command right now, but it's in the
manual!
obviously the session won't stay active once they leave your site and come
back again though!

Subject: [PHP-DB] session management, encryption
Hi folks,
I try to realize a small web shop solution using php, and store data to a
simple database by using adodb classes.
Due to that small project some questions left ;) therefore looking for help
on those subjects below.
1, I want to get rid of using cookies, therefore I search for another
possibility to store user tracks across my website
2, I like to transfer data encrypted. how can I use secure transaction, is
it possible to de-/encrypt data by php?
How can this be done, has anyone some smooth suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help,
kind regards Georg
