calling database contents to html page

Is it possible to call the contents of a mySQL table to a webpage? Basically this: I have a script program that will write the contents of a form to a mySQL table. I want to create a post-it note like thing for our staff so that they can post notes into the table, but I want them to show up on the page- called from the database. I have to use a database because my host uses 4 servers with a mirroring system to distrubute the data, so that w/o a db- the data will just be deleted. Thanks!
