ODBC Socket Server

Hello folks does anyone have some experience with odbc socket server? i'm struggling with the following situation: when i run a php script that sends request to the odbc socket server, the latter's process gets hung, consumes 99% CPU load and doesn't return anything whithout giving me an error msg or something like that after having processed an amount of 5-20 requests. as a consequence the php script stalls - until max execution time has been reached. i have to restart the odbc socket server service nearly after every run of my script. and the same game starts from the beginning. apache does it's job ok. my impression is that my script causes a "task overkill" to the odbc socket server. that's why i even built in some waiting loops after every 5 requests - without any success. i do not get any error messages - neither in the XML result nor in any system log. tia for your comments Steff
