Hi, I posted this on the php genereal mailing list but i'll try here again, as my problem still isn't solved. Sorry if it's a bit off-topic- didn't quite know where to post & thought it might be of interest.... Basically i'm trying to get apache to serve up the different PHP/mysql sites i've written to myself locally for debugging. I understand this is done via apache's virtua;l hosts; but when i try to envbale this httpd won't start. I've tried a couplke changes but to no avail... It's probably because i'm such a newbie I'm missing smthing quite obvious out, so in case that's the case i'm posting all the config files i know of in case there could be a mistake in one of them. If there's a config file i should have changed that's not in there, please let me know as i probably don't even know it exists. I did give the apache instructions quite a good read and followed the instructions as far as my understranding permitted, but it still doesn't work...... please help !!
